Quick application, fast approval

Applied for a Zena Business Charge Card. The process was quick. Approval came fast. Got my virtual card the same day. Helpful for tracking expenses. Satisfied with the service.

Got my card pretty fast

So I needed a new way to track my business spending, and my friend suggested Zena. The application was pretty simple, not too much hassle. My physical business card arrived in about a week, which was cool. I set up the real-time expense tracking and it seems to be working out okay. It's making things a bit easier to manage, so that's good.

Good value, solid offer

I decided to try Zena primarily because of the new account offer – I got a $200 statement credit after meeting the initial spending requirements. That was a big factor in my decision, and it felt like a fair return for signing up. The automated bookkeeping integration with my existing software was also a nice plus, saving me some time. Overall, it felt worth the purchase for my small business.

Always a smooth process

I've applied for a couple of Zena business charge cards for different entities now, and each time the application process was straightforward. This last one for my new contracting business was no exception. Getting the virtual card issued quickly really helped me set up new vendor payments without delay. Good to see they're consistently reliable.

I've seen some ads for a sign up bonus. Is there a specific link I need to use for that, or can I just apply directly on their main site and still get it?

J Julia W. 1 month ago
You usually need a referral link or a specific partner landing page. I got mine through a friend's link, pretty easy to find if you do a quick search.

Directly on the main site probably won't get you the bonus, afaik. They push those referral links hard.

Does Zena require a personal guarantee? That's a deal-breaker for me.

R Ryan H. 2 weeks ago
From my experience, no, they don't require a personal guarantee. That was a big selling point for me too.

M Mark T. 2 weeks ago
Definitely check their terms, but when I signed up, no personal guarantee needed. That's kinda their thing for building business credit separately.

How do these compare to something like Brex or Divvy? I'm trying to figure out the best one for my new startup.

P Paul P. 4 weeks ago
I looked at all of them. Zena felt a bit more tailored for smaller businesses, easier to get started. Brex and Divvy sometimes have higher bar for approval.

Each has its own perks. Zena's credit limits seemed more generous for newer businesses without tons of funding, compared to what I saw with Brex.

Hey, thinking about switching from my current business card. I'm in Austin, TX, how long does it usually take to actually get the physical cards once I'm approved?

M Michael J. 1 month ago
Mine took about a week and a half, maybe a bit less. I'm in Florida though, so Texas might be similar.

For the virtual cards, it's pretty much instant once you're approved. Physical ones, yeah, probably 7-10 business days is a good estimate based on what others said.

What kind of credit score do you need to get approved for Zena? My business is pretty new so our credit history isn't super long yet.

R Rachel R. 3 weeks ago
They look at your business finances more than your personal score, especially if you're new. Focus on showing good cash flow in your business bank accounts.

Mine was approved without a super long business history. I think they look at bank statements and projections more than traditional FICO for a brand new biz.

My business is pretty small, just me and one contractor. Would Zena be overkill for that, or is it still worth it for the expense tracking and stuff?

J James M. 1 month ago
Nah, not overkill. Even for just a couple of people, the expense tracking and virtual cards are super helpful. Cuts down on a lot of manual work.

I use it for just myself and it's been great. The spend controls are handy, even if it's just for my own budgets.

Is Zena like, a real credit card or more of a charge card where you have to pay it all off every month? Just wondering about the payment flexibility.

J Jennifer Adams 3 weeks ago
It's a charge card. You pay it off monthly, but that's actually good for building business credit and they usually offer pretty decent limits because of it.

B Brandon 3 weeks ago
Yeah, definitely a charge card. No revolving debt like a traditional credit card.

I use QuickBooks for my accounting. How well does Zena sync up with it, is it a pain or pretty seamless?

E Eric Davis 1 month ago
Super seamless! It integrates directly, so transactions just flow over. Saves a ton of time on data entry.

Mine works perfectly with QuickBooks Online. Took maybe 5 minutes to set up the connection and it's been rock solid ever since.
